The “can’t-miss” tourist destination for the summer of 2014!
Quebec City, June 19, 2014– The Complexe Capitale Hélicoptère in Quebec City and GoHelico, the new hotspot of our local tourism industry, announce another innovation: a transport system, available to visitors throughout the summer at absolutely no charge.
Buses featuring the company’s colours will run between Old Quebec and a few boarding stops, heading on to the Complexe Capitale Hélicoptère. Those boarding can enjoy an extraordinary experience and even discover Quebec City from above with GoHelico and its tours.
“As a new world-class tourist destination, the Complexe Capitale Hélicoptère offers visitors a thrilling experience, transporting them to an exceptional world – the helicopter universe,” said Gabriel Savard, President and Chief Executive Officer.
People can board one of our buses at Place d’Armes and end their day with an aerial tour of Quebec City. “Seeing the beauty of Quebec City and its attractions from the air is more than just a fun time – it’s the experience of the summer,” he added.
The shuttles will run from Tuesday, June 24 to October 12 this year. Departures are every hour on the hour, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Representatives of our companies are on hand at the Centre Infotouriste de Québec, to tell the public about our services.
The Complexe Capitale Hélicoptère and GoHelico are Groupe Huot companies, founded by the owner, Stephan Huot. The Complexe has been open to the public since April 2014, and the launch of the business was funded by a $22-million private investment.
